中国元素与现代设计
摘  要：“中国元素与风格”是中国现代设计的热门话题，但中国的设计产业还未成熟，对中国元素的应用比较表面化和符号化。中国元素的内涵非常深厚和宽泛，它不是单纯的具象的事物，而是中国精神的载体。另一方面，中国的传统文化对周边国家的文化有很大的影响，“东方文化”与“中国式”文化很多时候是近义词，这种影响也体现在各种设计中。将中国元素应用于现代设计，不可简单地复制以前的东西，必须发挥创造力，结合实用主义和功能主义，将中国元素真正地融入到现代设计中去。

Abstract："The Chinese element and the style" is the hottest topic in the Chinese modern design field. For China's design industry is immature, Chinese designers interpret Chinese element kind of broadly rather than in depth. The connotation of Chinese element is extremely deep and broad. It is the Chinese spirit carrier rather than the pure embodiment thing. On the other hand, China's traditional culture had a profound effect on the cultures of the peripheral nations. The two phrases "Eastern culture" and "Chinese culture” always have the same meaning in peoples’ minds. This kind of thought also manifests itself in many kinds of designs. One should not simply duplicate the old design to apply Chinese element in modern design but display one’s creativity, follow the pragmatic theory, hence truly melt “The Chinese element” into the modern design.

 随着中国经济的发展，中国的悠久历史与文化越来越受到世界各国设计师的关注，中国元素逐渐运用到各类设计中去。从平面设计到工业设计，从家居装潢到建筑设计，中国元素无孔不入。东方与西方、传统与现代的融合是设计师们的永恒话题，而其交叉点就是创新。创新是设计的灵魂，在现代设计中将中国元素重新整合变化，运用新思维、新材料、新工艺将其表现出来，这正是中国设计师们正在努力的方向。
