摘    要

      专家系统（Expert  System）是当前AI研究与应用的一个重要分支。专家系统的速速发展和成功应用，是人工智能从学科研究走向应用，从一般思维方法探讨转入专门知识实践的重大突破。
专家系统是基于知识库的知识利用系统，是人工智能的应用工程—“知识工程”的典型代表。因此，专家系统不仅是AI技术的应用对象，而且也是研究AI技术的实验环境。它代表着第二代计算机技术革命，是从数值信息处理转向非数值（知识）信息处理，具有新的转折意义的里程碑。
