The rapid development of the EDA technology
Abstract: With the continuous development of computer technology and Electronic technology, in the case of communications, defense, aerospace, industrial automation, instrumentation and other areas of electronic system design, EDA technical content are rising at an alarming rate, it has become today's electronic technology one of the development of cutting-edge. 20th century 90's, the international electronics and computer technology to the more advanced countries,has been actively exploring new methods of electronic circuit design, and design methods, tools and so on carried out a thorough reform, and achieved great success. The field of electronic technology in design, programmable logic devices (eg, CPLD, FPGA) applications, has been widely popular, these devices for the design of digital systems has brought about tremendous flexibility. These devices can be programmed through software and hardware structure and working its way to reconstruction, so that the design of hardware, as software design can be as simple and convenient.
This paper first described the basic concept of EDA technologies and the development process, and then from several different EDA introduced the basic characteristics of the development process and trends.
