再论陈玉成的败因——以性格分析为切入点
摘要
 陈玉成是太平天国后期的杰出将领，以年轻、骁悍、英勇善战著称，在太平天国和清廷都享有极高声誉，而却英年早逝，最终失败。多年来史学界对陈玉成的评价大多集中在军事方面，加上他一生的主要功绩也基本上都是出现在战场上，研究者们也从当时的政治、经济、文化、军事和外国帝国主义联合镇压等各个角度对其最终失败原因进行了深入的分析，而很少涉及从他的性格方面来分析。据现有材料可查，陈玉成的性格缺陷也是导致其最终败亡的一个重要因素。陈玉成的性格不仅影响了与自己部将的关系互动，甚至也深刻的影响到陈玉成在军事上的表现。
