摘要

本文档提出影响蒸汽机发明的社会历史发展背景；蒸汽机的简单工作原理；前人对蒸汽机的最后出现作了哪些先期的探索和准备；蒸汽机发明前后在物理上对大气压强，虹吸等现象的认识;当时机械方面的技术水平，如杠杆，曲轴等的应用；蒸汽机在发明过程中遇到的技术问题和解决办法；蒸汽机的发展崛起以及衰落；最后总结了蒸汽机发明史上一些值得借鉴的地方以及肯定了蒸汽机对人类社会发展的巨大作用。

Abstract
This thesis proposes the social and historical development background what impacts invention of the steam engine; the simple principle of the steam engine；predecessors made the exploration and preparation what for the invention of steam engine in the final; before and after the invention of the steam engine, understanding on phenomena of atmospheric pressure, siphon in Physics; at that time, the mechanical aspect of technology, such as the application on leverage, crankshaft and so on；the technical problems and solutions encountered in the course of invention of the steam engine; the development and the rise of decline of the steam engine; finally summed up what should be learned from the history of invention of the steam engine and affirmed the steam engine for the development of human society tremendous role.
