从《哈利·波特与火焰杯》看文学翻译中的文化冲突

摘    要
 本文主要从以下几个方面来展开研究：第一部分为导论，概括性地介绍了《哈利·波特》系列丛书，翻译中文化冲突的产生背景、原因及撰写此文的目的。第二部分重点介绍《哈利·波特》系列丛书在中国的流行以及国内学术界对它的某些方面的研究。第三部分阐述了文字层面冲突的三个方面，即词汇上的冲突、句法上的冲突、谚语和习语上的冲突。第四部分从历史文化，地理位置和宗教信仰角度分析了冲突产生的原因。第五部分将理论与文本相结合，具体分析所选语料中体现的问题，并在第六部分提出认为适当的解决方法，即文字表达的归化和文化内容的异化。最后,就上述陈述作了总结。

ABSTRACT
 This paper can be divided into seven parts. The first part is the introduction, briefly describing the concept of domestication and foreignization and the discussion about it in China, the series novels of Harry Potter and the purpose of writing this paper. The second part is focused on the popularity of Harry Potter in China and some of its academic research. The third part states three aspects of conflicts in cultural translation——lexical conflicts, syntactic conflicts and conflicts in proverbs and idioms. The fourth part explains the reasons why conflicts emerge from the angles of history, regional factor and religious belief. The fifth part combines theory with the chosen text from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and analyzes the translation problems it raises. The sixth part tries to come up with the resolution of using domestication in expression and foreignization in conveying cultural content. In the end, a conclusion is given to summarize the whole paper.
