华侨华人对西南边疆开发的作用——以广西为例

摘要

 由于道路、交通、地理、环境等问题，我国西南少数民族地区的发展一直处于滞后状态，与我国东部、东南部地区的发展十分不协调。改革开放以来华侨华人这一新生的力量对我国经济，特别是我国东南沿海经济发展起到了积极重要作用。这样如何有效地把这么一股新生的力量注入到西南部的发展，如何有效的发挥和利用华侨华人的力量，使其成为西南边疆地区人民脱贫致富过上小康生活的重要途径，是值得我们重视的问题。本文就以广西为例进行探讨，希望能达到抛砖引玉的功效。
