Analysis of Gender Differences in Vocabulary
and Syntax in Daily English
Abstract: This paper first gives a brief introduction of the structure. And then it elaborates gender differences from the perspective of vocabulary and syntax such as adjectives, adverbs, color terms, hedges, euphemism, sentence structure, tag-questions, imperative clauses and grammatical errors. It finally discusses some possible misunderstandings in cross-gender communication and gives tips on how to achieve effective communication.

摘要：本文首先简要介绍了文档的主题结构；其次从词汇和句法的角度系统地阐述了男性和女性在日常英语中所体现的差异,如：形容词、副词、颜色词、闪避词、委婉语、句子结构运用、反义疑问句、祈使句以及语法错误。最后讨论了在跨性别交流中可能产生的误解,并针对这些误解提供了一些建议以达到有效的交流的目的。
