The Significance of Teachers' Emotion in
Primary School English Teaching
 
 
Abstract: Through a brief description of the contemporary English teaching in primary school, this paper first puts forward the significant role of the teacher in primary school, especially the external expression of teachers’ emotion. Then it elaborates, at the same time, attaches importance to the four kinds of emotion: facial expression, voice tone, body movement, verbal expression. Besides, it analyses the different teachers’ external emotion performance towards the excellent and poor students as well as the introvert and extravert. Then it concludes the disadvantages of introverted teachers’ emotion performance, and the positive and negative effects of extraverted teachers’ emotion performance. At last, it again stresses the importance of teachers’ spontaneous, passionate expression of emotion in English class by connecting with the psychology.

教师的课堂情感表现在小学英语教学中的关键性作用

摘要: 本文首先通过简述当代小学英语教学的现状，提出教师角色的重要性，尤其是在课堂中的情感表现力方面；然后通过脸部表情，声音声调，肢体动作，表达方式这几方面具体分析教师情感的外在表现并一一强调其重要性；接着解析教师对优生和差生，外向型和内向型学生的不同情感表现，还提出内向型老师的情感表现及不良影响，及外向型教师大胆又感染力的情感表现的积极和消极影响；最后结合心理学分析情感因素产生的缘由，再一次强调英语课堂中教师自然流露的，富有激情的课堂情感表现的重要性。
