摘要：箱式变电站是社会经济发展和城市建设的必然产物。随着经济的发展，过去那种集中降压、长距离配电的方式已经大大制约了城市供电的发展，并降低了供电企业的经济效益。为此，国家在城网建设中，要求高压直接进入市区，深入负荷中心。要实现高压深入负简中心，箱式变电站是最经济、方便、有效的设备之一。
 箱式变电站（简称箱变）是一种将高压设备、配电变压器和低压配电装置按一定方案组成一体的工厂预制的紧凑式配电装置。由于箱变具有成套性强、体积小、占地小、能深人负荷中心、提高供电质量、减少线损、安装方便、选址灵活等忧点，且使用范围广，因而适用于城市公共配电、高层建筑、住宅小区、公园、高速公路等，是城市电网建设与改造的必需设备。
